Good and Evil

When we encounter the negatives, we resent them and run away.

When we encounter the positives, we embrace them and crave for more.

Despite our effort, the negatives never cease completely,

And the positives never last to our satisfaction.

There is another way, another state of being.


To process the negatives without resentment

To process the positives without wanting more

To digest them both without prejudice.

When we do that, a whole new door opens up,

where two become one.

Some call it life, some call it God.

Just like when a child is sad, let her cry and she'll be fine afterward.

Be what you are feeling right now without suppression.

Allow your whole being to flow without trying to alter it.

Let it flow.


Gospel of Thomas Saying 22:
Jesus saw some babies nursing. He said to his disciples, "These nursing babies are like those who enter the (Father's) kingdom."

They said to him, "Then shall we enter the (Father's) kingdom as babies?"

Jesus said to them, "When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter [the kingdom]."
